Is your business—your entire life for that matter—guided by the secret? Do you even know what the secret is? If not on either count, it may be time for change. Because the secret is the universal law of attraction that simply states “like attracts like.” The Law of Attraction was first brought to light by Napoleon Hill in an interview with Andrew Carnegie and recently brought back to the public eye by Rhonda Byrne. It describes how your thoughts, feelings, words and actions are all ripples of energy in the fabric of the universe and that they will in turn attract energies of the same kind. Positive energy will attract positive energy—and negative energy will attract negative energy.

The corollary of the secret is that if you think positive thoughts, have positive feelings, and say and do positive things, you will be successful. To a large extent, this is true. The problem is that it’s not all that easy to put into action, especially if you’re starting from a negative place to begin with. Also, the principles of the law of attraction work in your business life as well as in your personal life. So from a business perspective, if you want to follow the path to abundance, you need to incorporate the law of attraction into your business strategy.

Many people come to a crossroad in their life when restlessness with the status quo sets in, and they realize that change is necessary. Often, this restlessness is driven by financial issues that crop up from time to time, especially now in this period of global economic crisis. An ever increasing number of concerned people have decided that a solid network marketing opportunity may be the solution to these pressing life and money problems.

They embark on their new venture, excited about the prospects of the future, and of turning their dreams into reality. But starting and running a business is never easy, and frustrations start to set in. Ultimately, these new businesses fail, because the entrepreneur neglects to do one thing—to apply the universal law of attraction. They allow negative energies to sap the lifeblood and spirit out the business, and their lifelong dream is destroyed.

Don’t let this happen to you. You need to let go of your old patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving. Let positive energy infuse your life and your business. But also be practical about it. Not only make sure that the secret is aligned with your new business venture, but make sure the opportunity itself is solid. A legitimate life changing opportunity is fully systematized and supported. Start now. Take action, give without wanting, and most importantly, follow your heart. Success will be yours before you realize it.
